Hello blog, I haven’t forgotten you. It’s just that my thoughts are so random these days that there’s almost no sense in putting them down.
So, mini updates:
- We were in London a while ago, and B is now married. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to, and I’m so glad I made it there. Suprisingly, (and oh thank god) I managed to do my reading without slurring or stuttering or crying, and people loved it! Woop!
- I’ll be married 4 years next month. Yes, wow. Time really zooms by when you’re having fun. Or making chapatis.
- We’re booking holidays! Woop!! It’s probably best if we get all our vacationing done before we run out of time. This December, we’re planning a cruise. Hell YES! I can’t to be sitting out by the pool sipping mimosas and getting some much needed relaxation time. It’s also great that I’ll finally do Thailand, even if it’s just a day!
- I’m drawing and painting again! This was one of those things I’ve put off almost all my life in Chennai, which was really stupid of me. There’s something therapeutic about painting in silence. Ah, love.
- Our rotating novel seems to have stopped rotating. I don’t know whose turn it is and I don’t know what’s going to happen next either. Epic fail.
- I’m in love with Skype and my new phone. Seriously, what did we do without smart phones in the old days! I’m glad we have them now as most of my friends live in different time zones, and it’s hard to keep up-to-date with each others lives. I mean, who emails now? I haven’t got an actual email from a friend in months. Maybe years! Strangely, I do receive post. Although even that’s been a bit slow in recent months. I’m also too scared of the Chennai postal system to send any! I can’t bear the thought of losing any!!
